Thursday’s City garbage collection will be delayed until Monday, Feb. 27.
City plows will continue clearing streets until after 6 p.m. this evening. They will be back on the streets at 3 a.m. to clear snow routes again. Once snow routes are clear, the plows will move to residential streets. The snow alert remains active; off-street parking should be used on emergency snow routes.

The City of Pierre will close its solid waste facility at noon today.

City Offices, Rawlins Library Closed
City of Pierre offices and Rawlins Municipal Library are closed today due to weather conditions. The City’s solid waste facility on East Park Street is open today.
A snow alert is active at 8 a.m. this morning; please use off-street parking along emergency snow routes. Plows have been in operation since 5 this morning to keep emergency snow routes open.
