Street Closure Planned: Henry Street
Weather permitting, Henry Street, between Missouri and Dakota Avenues, will close to through traffic on Monday, April 25. The closure will allow the city to replace a water main. Local traffic will maintain access.
The section of street is expected to reopen by Saturday, May 7. Through traffic is encouraged to detour around the area.
The city maintains 80 miles of streets, more than 100 miles of water main, and more than 60 miles of sanitary sewer. Each year, city staff assess the streets, in addition to utilities, sidewalks and curbs to prioritize street maintenance and reconstruction projects.
