Country Drive Traffic Lane Restriction
PIERRE, S.D. –West Capitol Avenue / Country Drive between Terri Lane and Lakeside Lane will be reduced to one lane for several hours tomorrow morning for the delivery of construction supplies.
Weather permitting, on Monday, Sept. 19, crews will begin a storm sewer replacement project. Between Sept. 19 and Oct. 3, West Capitol Avenue/ Country Drive will be reduced to one lane between Terri Lane and Lakeside Lane while contractors replace the storm sewer directly under the West Capitol Avenue/River Road intersection.
The storm sewer replacement project is estimated to cost $250,000 and will be partially funded by state and federal grants.
