Pierre, S.D. –People who have punch cards to use Pierre’s outdoor pool, can now use their punch cards at the indoor Aquatics Center located at the YMCA. The punch cards will be accepted at the Aquatics Center daily from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. until the outdoor pool reopens.
Pierre’s outdoor pool is closed temporarily following a July 3, water main break. The break is in a service line that feeds the pool and not part of the actual pool infrastructure.
No additional punch cards will be sold until the outdoor pool reopens. Water exercise classes held at the outdoor pool will also be moved to the Aquatics Center until the outdoor pool reopens.
