Pierre, S.D. – The City has rolled out its list of summer recreation activities. It features more than 30 programs for youth, as well as adult activities.

There will be scavenger hunts at the Pierre Arboretum to help kids learn how to use a compass. And kids can learn how to build a mini pirate ship while they search for hidden treasures at the Pirate Parties.

Online program registration begins at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, April 25. Walk-in registration begins Tuesday, May 10. For registration details and a complete list of adult and youth program schedules, fees and age restrictions visit Activity Guides are also available at City Hall and at the YMCA.
