The City’s yard waste and recycling bins are located behind a locked gate at Pierre’s Solid Waste Facility.  

Access

All City of Pierre residential utility customers may obtain an access card at no cost. Visit City Hall or the Solid Waste Facility during normal operating hours to get a card.  It may take up to three days for cards to activate. Click here for more information.

People without an access card will need to pay $3 per load to use the yard waste and recycling bins. Self-serve payments are accepted via credit card.
