Approximately 40 9-14 year old boys and girls from Pierre and the surrounding area competed in the Pierre running of the Hershey’s Track and Field Games on Saturday, June 5. Winners in the Pierre meet advanced to the State meet, which will be held in Aberdeen, SD on June 26. Winners at the State meet will then be entered into a regional pool and become eligible for selection to a Regional Team which will travel to Hershey, Pennsylvania, to compete in the North American Final, held Saturday, August 7, 2010.
