Restricted Use Facility - Virtual Tour

 

There are signs at the facility that provide directions to the different dumping areas.

Scrap Metal Pile - Scrap metal is piled up and then recycled.

 

 

Tree Area - Trees & branches are piled up and burned.

 

Compost Area - yard waste (leaves & grass clippings) and garden waste is piled in windrows and turned with a Scarab.  The yard & garden waste then becomes compost material. Water is added to maintain moisture to help the compost mature. 

 

Concrete Area - concrete that is free of rebar and metal/mesh is stockpiled to be crushed and recycled.

 

Asphalt Area - asphalt is stockpiled to be crushed and recycled.
