TRAILER (MOBILE) HOME PARKS

Sections 10-13-101 to 199, inclusive. Trailer (mobile) home parks - general provisions.

Section 10-13-101. Application and requirements for trailer (mobile) home park licenses.

No license shall be issued except upon written application of the owner or operator of the trailer (mobile) home park and said application shall contain a certification under oath or affirmation that said trailer (mobile) home park complies in all things with the applicable rules and regulations of the city appertaining thereto.

No owner or operator of a trailer (mobile) home park shall park, or allow to be parked, in such trailer (mobile) home park, any trailer on which the owner or user of said trailer has not complied with the provisions of SDCL 10-1-4 and 10-9, as amended.

Applications shall be made as provided in Article 1 of this chapter.

Section 10-13-102. Fees for trailer (mobile) home park licenses.

Beginning January 1, 1990, and every year thereafter, the annual license fee for a trailer (mobile) home park shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and one dollar ($1.00) for each and every trailer parking space.  All licenses shall expire December 31st of the year in which issued.

Section 10-13-103.  Street or lot numbers required on mobile home.

It shall be the responsibility of the mobile home park owner/manager to see that each mobile home parked in that court is conspicuously numbered either by street or lot number as appropriate in that mobile home court.
