AUCTIONEERS

Section 10-4-101. Application and fee for auctioneer's license.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in the business or calling of an auctioneer within the city without first having procured a license to do so. The application for license shall be made as provided in Article 1 of this chapter. The fee for such license shall be the sum of $25.00 annually.

Section 10-4-102. Exemptions from requirement for auctioneer's license.
Nothing in this chapter in relation to auctions and auctioneers shall extend to any sale of livestock or farm products or any stock of local merchandise or to any sale of secondhand furniture by or for any person who shall have actually used the same in this city.
