All material going into the landfill must be weighed in at the landfill scale located at 2800 E. Park St. There is no longer a scale located at the actual landfill site. Enter the scale area off of S. Lowell St. which is directly south of the landfill road.

Vehicles hauling refuse or yard waste that is not secured or covered so that no spillage may occur may be assessed a fine up to $20.00.

 All vehicles must go through the scale at 2800 E. Park Street. NO admittance without weighing at the scale. Questions, please call the Pierre Solid Waste Facility - 773-7434.

 Drop off boxes for yard waste and trees are available after hours and Sundays at the Pierre Solid Waste Facility located at 2800 East Park.
